Mexican international Jared Borgetti has failed to reach an agreement with Saudi club Ittihad Jeddah and will travel to Spain to join Bolton's pre-season camp. "Jared is still our player," Bolton's coach Sam Allardyce told the club's official website on Tuesday. "Personal terms have not been reached with Borgetti and the Saudis and for that reason the deal has stalled for the time being." Bolton had agreed to a bid from the former Asian champions for the transfer of the 32-year-old striker. Nevertheless, given Bolton's numerous injuries, Allardyce seems glad the deal did not go through. "With the injury to Abdoulaye Faye and with a number of first teamers staying back in Bolton recovering from injuries, we are running out of bodies," Allardyce said. "Jared will be coming out to Spain, along with academy players Mark Charlesworth and Robert Sissons, to train and take some part in the tournament," he added.
