The Egyptian volleyball national team lost 3-0 to Cuba in the World League game played in Cairo on Sunday. Cuba easily won the first half 25-13 before finishing off the second 25-17. Egypt's Treviso player Abdullah Abdul-Salam almost led his team to winning the third half, but the Cuban experience was there to deny the Egyptians and wrap up the game with a 25-23 win. The loss leaves Egypt in the bottom of World League group D which also includes South Korea and Bulgaria.
