Ittihad Alexandria completed the signing of Nigerian striker Daouda Ushata on a three-year contract for $120,000. Ittihad deputy president Mohamed Moseilhi told FilGoal.com on Saturday that the club concluded a deal with Ushata after an impressive showing during his three-game trial at the club. Ushata will be Ittihad fifth signing for the new season following the capture of keeper Essam Mahmoud, Aboul-Enein Shehata, Ahmed Hassan and Hesham Hanafi. The club is hoping the Nigerian striker will increase their attacking options after left-back Saied Abdul-Aziz finished as the club's top scorer last season with three goals.
