Ahli midfielder Mohamed Abou-Treika will be sidelined for ten days through a recurring groin injury, the club said on Wednesday. Abou-Treika's sustained the injury in Ahli's African Champions League match against Renacimiento of Equatorial Guinea on Sunday. An Ahli medical staff member said that the 28-year-old is suffering from an inflammation in his left groin. "Abou-Treika will need ten days of rest to recover from the injury," he said. The Egypt international is set to miss Ahli's local league match against Suez Cement on Friday and Bani Suwaif Telephones in the Egypt Cup on May 2nd. Abou-Treika, however, will be fit for Ahli's decisive league clash against Arab Contractors on May 10th. A victory over Arab Contractors will help the Egyptian champions retain their title for the second successive season.
