Ismailia – Yasser El-Sherif: Ismaili blasted the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) for approaching head coach Theo Buecker for the vacant Olympic team coaching job. “The club board refuses, once and for all, to allow the EFA to negotiate with Buecker to coach the Olympic team,” Ismaili board member Othman Attia told FilGoal.com exclusively on Friday. Attia stressed that EFA should maintain their role as Egyptian football regulators and should have asked permission from Ismaili before opening talks with Buecker, even if the club has yet to offer the German coach an extension deal. Earlier reports indicated that the Egyptian football governing body offered former Zamalek coach Eduardo Vingada the job, while other reports insisted that it was Buecker whom they were negotiating. Ismaili also opened fire on four local clubs for approaching team players without their consent. “We were on our way to report Ahli, Zamalek, Enppi and Petrojet after they approached our players without our consent, and given that they still had one more year on their contracts, but we found the EFA doing the same,” Attia added. Attia also asked the Egyptian FA officials who get “200,000 EGP as salary” as he claimed, to search for a coach for the Olympic team instead of “stealing” Ismaili's boss. He also asked the clubs' officials to train their youth teams instead of getting “ready-made” players from Ismaili.
