Ismailia – Yasser El-Sherif: Ismaili president Yehia Al-Koumi called the Egyptian league clubs for a meeting to discuss the Egyptian Football Association (EFA)'s rules for player transfers that he says, serves the top clubs' interests. “The players can't resist the substantial offers made to them by Ahli and Zamalek, and the EFA rules help both of the big clubs to sign players from the governorates easier,” Al-Koumi was quoted as saying by the local media on Thursday. On the other hand, Ismaili are on the verge of appointing a football director and a goalkeeping coach, informed sources told FilGoal.com. The Ismaili board reasoned that having a football director will enable them to control the players, a matter they noticed during their last match against Ahli in the Egyptian league's final round. Ismaili are also looking to appoint a new goalkeeper coach given Mohamed Sohbi and Mohamed Fathi's recent drop of form and below-par performances. The club's intention of filling these two vacant spots is expected to clash with German coach Theo Buecker, who wants to keep the coaching and administrative staffs the way they are.
