Ismailia–Yasser Al Sherif: Ismaili president Yehia Al-Koumi said that the club would welcome any European offer for star defender Ahmed Fathi, stressing that any offer for the player should be at a suitable price. Al-Koumi told reporters on Tuesday that the club is currently facing difficulties in signing top quality players as clubs are asking very high salaries to sell their players. He added that the club signed Salah Amin and Amr Samir from Qanah to enforce the team's attack following the release of both Nigerian forward Robert Akaruye and Angolan player George Selino. Al-Koumi said that Ismaili received offers from both Zamalek and Enppi to sign defender Ahmed Al-Gammal, adding that the club would only sell the player if coach Theo Buecker agrees to let him go. However, Buecker told reporters on Tuesday that he'd agree to let go Al-Gammal if the club board inform him that they want to sell the player for financial reasons. Meanwhile, Ismaili vice president, Ibrahim Ashour told FilGoal.com that they would be willing to sell Al-Gammal to Zamalek if the Cairo club agree to let defender Wael Al-Qabani join Ismaili, expressing his rejection to part-exchange deals and that if the two deals are approved, they should be sealed separately.
