The Cairo Administrative Court has revoked on Sunday the decision of the former Youth Minister to dissolve Zamalek club's board of Directors presided by Mortada Mansour. The ruling came after Mansour filed a suit against former Minister Mamdouh Al-Beltagi and the deputy minister in charge of Giza governorate in which Zamalek club is located. Al-Beltagi had dissolved Zamalek's administration and appointed an interim board led by Morsi Attalla. Filgoal.com has learnt that the court's ruling should is official and final, however, its implementation remains uncertain. Upon the ruling, Hassan Saqr, head of the Higher Council of Sport (HCS), said that an appeal will be filed to keep the appointed Zamalek board in charge. "The ruling is not final," insisted Saqr. "The HCS will appeal the decision and push for Attalla to stay in charge of Zamalek." However, Saqr insisted the HCS will respect the rule of law if a final decision is made. "We respect the Egyptian judicial system, and if our appeal is turned down and the court makes a final ruling, we will uphold it," he said.
