Mansour back in charge of Zamalek
Published in FilGoal on 11 - 04 - 2006

The Administrative Court had ruled on disallowing the decision made by former Youth Minister Mamdouh Al-Beltagi to dissolve the former Zamalek board that was presided by Mansour.
However, HCS president Hassan Saqr had postponed employing the court's decision until its legal department researched the ruling.
Upon arriving in Zamalek's headquarters, Mansour vowed to continue with the projects he had promised when he was first elected last year.
"I will resume with my plans to renew the club headquarters as I promised before being elected," Mansour said in a press conference on Tuesday.

Mansour did not forget to praise the integrity of the Egyptian judicial system that reinstated him and his board.
"We got back what is lawfully ours," he said. "The court's ruling proves the judicial system is an upright one."
The HCS, in addition to reinstating Mansour, appointed a number of personnel to fill in for the former Zamalek board members who resigned before the controversy.
Raouf Gasser was named vice-president and Gamaleddin Ahmed as treasurer while Remmah Salem, Megahed Abdul-Raouf, Khaled Mahmoud and Ahmed Tawfik Hafez were confirmed as board members.
The appointed members will continue on the board until Zamalek's next elections.
