Moetaz Mohamed "Eno" blasted home a 66th minute goal to give Zamalek a hard fought 1-0 win over Arab Contractors in the Egyptian league on Tuesday. The win stretched Zamalek's winning run to three matches and put them temporarily in first spot as they await the match between Ahli and Mahalla. Zamalek had goalkeeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed to thank for keeping his net clean as he denied five chances for the Contractors before Eno salvaged the win for the white castle. A brilliant solo effort saw Eno move down the left and cut in before unleashing a fierce drive home from the edge of the box in the 66th minute.
Ahmed Eid Abdul-Malek Earlier, Harras Al-Hodoud produced a 4-0 drubbing of Cement Suez to grab fifth spot in the league table on 23 points. Ahmed Eid Abdul-Malek registered a brace while Hani Saied and Ahmed Abdul-Ghani scored a goal each to complete the rout for Al-Hodoud. In other matches, Al-Gaish beat Cement Asyut 2-1, Ittihad held Ismaili to a 1-1 draw, Masri cruised past Koroum with a 2-0 win and Enppi thrashed Aluminum 3-0.
