Ahli have signed striker Ahmed Raouf from Libya's Ittihad Tripoli in part-exchange for Ahmed Abdul-Zaher, the African champions said. Raouf, 31, signed a three-year contract on Saturday after spending the past few months at Ittihad Tripoli following his move from ENPPI. The transfer will see Raouf's former strike partner Abdul-Zaher move on a six-month loan to the Libyan outfit. Abdul-Zaher has been transfer-listed and banned by Ahli last month following his controversial goal-celebration in the Champions League final against Orlando Pirates. Egypt international Raouf has been a consistent goalscorer for ENPPI during the past few seasons, having also formed a strong link with Abdul-Zaher at the Cairo club.
