Hegazi almost scores in Fiorentina defeat

Ahmed Hegazi couldn't help Fiorentina avoid a heavy 3-0 defeat at Sporting Lisbon in a pre-season friendly.
The Egypt center-half found the net after Fredy Montero had given Sporting the lead with a rocketing effort, only for the headed equalizer to be ruled offside.
Hegazi, who started most of his team's pre-season matches, was taken off at half time as Sporting added two more goals via Andre Carrillo and Jose Semedo.
Fiorentina open their new Italian Serie A season against Catania on August 25, a few days after clashing with Switzerland's Grasshoppers in the Europa League playoffs.
