Ahli eased to a 6-0 friendly victory over second-division Helwan with a second-string side.
Ahmed Abdul-Zaher opened the scoring after being set up by promising forward Amr Gamal as Congo teenager Kader Bidimbou made it two after half time.
The third goal came from a header by Ayman Ashraf who was brilliantly set up by youth midfielder Loai Wael.
Egypt international Al-Sayed Hamdi made it four before Dominique da Silva added one and youngster Mostafa Al-Sayed completed the rout with a fine lob in stoppage time.
