On May 1 2005, Lionel Messi scored his first goal for Barcelona in a Spanish Liga game against Albacete.
The Argentine prodigy came off the bench to wrap up a 2-0 victory with a brilliant lob; the first of tens he would go on to score for the Catalans in and out of the Nou Camp.
The goal made Messi - who was 17 at the time - the youngest player to score a league goal for Barca, but the record was eventually broken by Bojan Krkic.
Now 25, Messi is comfortably sitting on top of Barcelona's all-time goalscoring charts with a staggering 311 goals so far.
