Egypt will play a friendly game against Qatar on March the 7th, the FA has confirmed. After agreeing terms with its Qatari counterpart, the Egyptian FA said on its website that the date has been set for the warm-up in Doha. It was also confirmed that Ahli have agreed to release players for the international after initially refusing to let them go only four days ahead of a league game with ENPPI. Egypt prepare for a crucial World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe by the end of March as Bob Bradley's side lead Group G with six points from two games. Qatar have just hosted Egypt in Doha a month ago, losing 2-0 to goals from Al-Sayed Hamdi and Geddo. The Pharaohs are also expected to play another friendly before the Zimbabwe clash, with Kenya and Swaziland mentioned as possible opponents.
