Ivorian midfielder Aubin Kouakou is set to have a trial with Ahli ahead of a winter move from Stade Tunisien. Kouakou, who plays as a defensive midfielder, will be watched by Ahli this week after coach Hossam declared that he needs a player in that position. The 21-year-old is regarded as a possible replacement for long-term casualty Hossam Ghaly, who damaged knee ligaments at the Club World Cup last month. Ahli have been testing several players over the past few months, most of which were strikers. The African champions currently prepare for the season opener against Ghazl Mahalla early next month.
