CAIRO - The Illicit Gains Authority (IGA) Wednesday ordered the detention of Egypt's ex-Parliament Speaker Fathi Sorour for 15 more days for further investigations into the sources of his fortune. "Sorour has been remanded for 15 more days" a statement from the governmental agency said. Egypt's official Middle East News Agency reported that Sorour, one of the most powerful men in the former regime, was senrt back into jail after eight hours of questioning. Surour was the Speaker of Parliament since 1991 and a key ruling party figure until the legislature was dissolved following the Feb. 11 ouster of former president Hosni Mubarak.
