CAIRO - Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf met candidates for the posts of minister of foreign affairs and justice on Sunday, part of a planned reshuffle, Egypt's official Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported. The news agency named Nabil Elaraby as “the candidate” for the ministry of foreign affairs to replace Ahmed Abul Gheit, who has served in the post since 2004. He also met Mahmoud al-Guindy, named as the candidate to become justice minister. Elaraby is a former judge in the International Court of Justice and was previously Egypt's permanent representative to the United Nations.
