By Ashraf Sadek: CAIRO, August 2, 2018 - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Thursday attended the graduation ceremony of the 156th batch of Armed Forces non-commissioned officers. During the passing out ceremony, which was held at the Ismailia-based Non-Commissioned Officers' Training Institute, President Sisi witnessed a drill that manifested the graduates' skills and competence. The exercises have also shown the preparedness and combat capabilities of the graduates. President Sisi also decorated the top graduates, who distinguished themselves and achieved high scores during their two-year study at the institute. The new batch was named after Corporal Attiya Saleh Mohamadein Hassan, who was martyred during a combat with terrorists recently. President Sisi honoured late corporal Hassan with the Armed Force's Shield, which was received by his son and daughter, who attended the ceremony. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Defence Minister General Mohamed Zaki, Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal and a number of ministers and top officials attended Thursday's ceremony.
