ALEXANDRIA - President Hosni Mubarak, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Wednesday attended the ceremony of graduating a new batch of the Naval Academy in Alexandria. The ceremony included a number of simulated naval battles ending with the leading role of the Egyptian Navy during the October War. The graduation ceremony started with playing the national anthem, then graduates performed several exercises showing their physical fitness and military skills. The results of the final exams of the academy's batch were announced with graduates taking the allegiance oath. The graduates promised to fulfill their national responsibilities of defending their homeland. At the end of the ceremony, the Director of the Naval Academy greeted President Mubarak and offered him a souvenir on the occasion.
