CAIRO, July 14, 2018 (MENA) - Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli is directly following up the developments of a Cairo-Qena train accident, a Cabinet statement said. The premier made phone contacts with Health Minister Hala Zayed, Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali and Transport Minister Hesham Arafat to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to cope with the accident, the statement added. Madbouli vowed firm actions to be made after completing the ongoing investigations. Some 58 people were injured in the accident, according to the Health Ministry. The accident took place when three passenger cars of train no. 986 on Cairo/Qena Line were derailed and overturned at Elmaraziq station in Giza.
