CAIRO, May 28, 2018 (MENA) - Minister of State for Military Production Dr Mohamed Saeed el Assar and President of the Egyptian-Chinese University Ashraf Shehy on Monday signed a co-operation protocol between the Egyptian Academy for Engineering and Advanced Technology, an affiliate of the Ministry of Military Production, and the Engineering Faculty of the Egyptian-Chinese University. In press statements, Assar said the protocol will allow both sides to conduct basic and applied scientific research works that could qualify the new generations to launch new industries depending on modern knowledge and advanced technology. He also said the Military Production academy will provide necessary facilities for graduates of the Egyptian-Chinese University to implement their innovative ideas in the labs of the academy. Meanwhile, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian-Chinese University Dr Ali Abdel Raziq el Sharqawy said the co-operation protocol comes as part of the two sides' keenness on establishing the bases for scientific co-operation, training and research. He asserted that the Egyptian-Chinese University has a distinguished experience in the fields of modern technology, scientific applications and education quality.
