CAIRO, May 6, 2018 (MENA) - Director of the Civil Protection Forces General Alaa Abdel Zaher said firefighters have successfully put out a fire that broke out at Abbassiyah Chest Diseases Hospital, with no casualties being reported. In statements to MENA, Abdel Zaher said the civil protection operations room received a report on the fire at the Chest Hospital in Abbassiyah district, east Cairo, and fire engines immediately rushed to the scene and contained the situation. He said the fire damaged an area located between the gates of the hospital and the patients' wards. He said criminal lab experts will inspect the site to determine the causes behind the blaze.
