RIYADH, April 15, 2018 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Saturday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the sidelines of the 29th Arab Summit, which kicked off in Dhahran of Saudi Arabia on Sunday. Earlier Saturday, Sisi was received at the airport by Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit and Governor of the Eastern Province Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulziz. The summit is scheduled to discuss several issues, including the Palestinian cause as well as the crises in Syria, Libya and Yemen. The agenda of the summit also includes the Iranian interference in Arab affairs, regional and international issues in addition to anti-terrorism efforts.
