CAIRO: Zamalek football director Ayman Mansour handed in his resignation upon the request of chairman Mamdouh Abbas, who said the club will leave the post vacant. Mansour told FilGoal.com on Thursday that goalkeeping coach Ayman Taher and trainer Moatamed Gamal have also resigned as coach Henri Michel is set to choose his assistants for the coming season. Meanwhile, the Zamalek board has decided to register Youssef Hamdi and Hossam Osama in the team s local squad for the next season although the two aren't part of Michel s plans. The Egyptian Football Association regulations state that if any player isn't listed as part of the club's local squat, he won't be committed to any club even if his contract still has time to run.
