Zamalek football director Ayman Mansour has handed in his resignation upon the request of chairman Mamdouh Abbas, who said the club will leave the post vacant. Mansour told FilGoal.com on Thursday that goalkeeping coach Ayman Taher and trainer Moatamed Gamal has also resigned as boss Henri Michel is set to choose his assistants for the coming season. Meanwhile, Zamalek have decided to register Youssef Hamdi and Hossam Osama in the team's local squad for the new season although the duo does not feature in Michel's plans. The Egyptian Football Association regulations state that any player becomes free if he is not included in the local squad, even if his contract still has time to run. The Cairo giants do not want to loose Hamdi and Osama for nothing so they decided to register them until they receive any offer for their services. Zamalek could be forced not to make any move in the January transfer window to reinforce their squad as the expected arrival of Ayman Abdul-Aziz will conclude the 30-man squad list.
