Egypt and Saudi relations strategic; not affected by transient events

CAIRO: Egypt`s Foreign Minister, Mohammed Kamel Amr, stressed that relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia are strategic and would not be affected by any differences or transient events.
Amr said in a statement made at the Cabinet Headquarters on Monday, the financial aid package that Saudi Arabia plans to grant to Egypt as a kind of support to the Egyptian economy is ongoing , adding that the Saudi ambassador will return to his post in Cairo soon.
Amr denied rumors there will be a prisoner swap between the Egyptians imprisoned in Saudi Arabia and Saudis imprisoned in Egypt.
