BREAKING NEWS: Saudi Arabia closes embassy in Cairo amid demonstrations

CAIRO: Saudi Arabia has decided to recall its ambassador to Cairo and close its diplomatic missions in Egypt, according to the official news agency SPA, which was announced on Saturday.
“Measures were decided in response to demonstrations outside [the Saudi] missions in Egypt and threats following the announcement of the arrest of an Egyptian lawyer in Saudi Arabia,” an official spokesman, quoted by SPA, said.
