Manila (dpa) – Two suspected robbers threw a grenade and opened fire inside a shopping mall in the Philippine capital on Thursday, wounding six people, police said. The suspects attacked a bank employee delivering money to a foreign exchange outlet inside the Robinsons Mall in the commercial district of Ortigas in Manila. Superintendent Danilo Pecana, a police spokesman, said two security guards, the bank employee and three bystanders were hurt in the robbery. Pecana said there was no information yet on whether the suspects were able to get the money from the bank employee.
