Warsaw (dpa) – Seventeen people were injured when a bus carrying mainly teenagers collided with a car in central Poland on Saturday, local media said. The bus was carrying three adults and 16 teenagers who were on their way to a football match when it collided with a Toyota Yaris at an intersection in the village of Kromolin Stary. Four people were badly injured but no-one was in a life-threatening condition. “The fact that everyone survived is very lucky,” Leszek Blaszczyk, head of firefighting operations, told TVN 24.
