Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aty and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa on Monday inspected the Egyptian Red Crescent's humanitarian kitchen in Sheikh Zuweid, North Sinai, during their visit to Arish and the Rafah crossing. The inspection reviewed the kitchen's role in supplying food aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip under the supervision of the Egyptian Red Crescent. Social Solidarity Minister Maya Morsi presented an overview of its operations, while Amel Imam, executive director of the organisation, highlighted its achievements. These included delivering two million loaves of bread, more than 500,000 hot meals, and over 700,000 dry meals into Gaza. Abdel-Aty and Mustafa praised the efforts of the humanitarian kitchen in addressing the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. They stressed the urgent need for unrestricted access of aid to all residents, particularly in light of Israel's policy of systematic starvation in Gaza.
