Egypt's digital outsourcing exports triple in 3 years

Egypt's digital outsourcing sector has expanded sharply, with the number of companies exporting digital services abroad tripling to around 180 by the end of 2024 from 60 in 2021, the Cabinet's media centre said Sunday.
Since 2022, outsourcing firms have pledged to hire more than 60,000 specialists over a three-year period to staff their Egyptian operations. So far, 48,000 additional specialists have been recruited, the statement said.
