Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat inaugurated the new regional headquarters of global outsourcing services provider Intelcia in Sheikh Zayed City, Giza Governorate, the Egyptian Cabinet reported on Tuesday. Intelcia Egypt currently serves clients across the United States, Europe and the Gulf region, offering multilingual outsourcing and customer experience solutions in seven different languages. The company's operations further strengthen Egypt's role as a regional centre of excellence for business outsourcing. Intelcia plans to expand its presence in the Egyptian market by creating 1,300 new direct jobs, bringing its total local workforce to around 4,000 specialists. The company also aims to open two additional centres in Greater Cairo and Alexandria by 2026, which would bring the total number of its facilities in Egypt to four.
