Egypt's Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly held a meeting on Sunday with several ministers and officials to review investment opportunities for vacant plots along the Nile Corniche. Discussions focused on an ongoing survey to identify vacant, underutilised land and assess its potential uses according to approved detailed plans. The meeting also reviewed the preliminary inventory conducted by the Cairo Governorate covering plots in the districts of El-Sahel, Rod El-Farag, Bulaq Abul Ela, West Cairo, Dar El-Salam, Maasara, Helwan and Tebbin. The review detailed the ownership, jurisdiction and precise areas of each plot. Madbouly stressed that the government aims to maximise returns from the state's unused assets to add value to the Egyptian economy through effective management, including partnerships with the private sector. He called for expediting the land evaluation process to prepare them as ready investment opportunities. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
