Egypt's Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif El-Sherbiny announced on Sunday the completion of all work on the electrical feed connection project for the Fourth District to the Badr 3 Electricity Transmission Station in Badr City. Located at the city's entrance on the Cairo–Ismailia Desert Road, the station will help ease the load on the Badr 1 station, the ministry stated. The project is part of government efforts to enhance investment-friendly infrastructure, support new urban and development expansions, and improve service quality for residents. According to the cabinet statement, the connection followed testing of new medium-voltage cable lines and cables for the Fourth District. The link will stabilise electricity loads, reduce voltage fluctuations, and prevent repeated outages that had occurred due to rapid urban expansion. All works were completed after trial operations, with the project designed to ensure adequate power supply for properties, land plots, housing units, commercial and administrative facilities, and factories. The upgrade is also expected to boost occupancy rates across Badr City's districts. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: M. S. Salama
