Egypt's Education Development Fund, affiliated with the Cabinet, has for the first time deployed robots to provide guidance and technical support to students sitting entrance exams at the Egyptian-Japanese KOSEN Institute, according to a Cabinet statement. As part of the state's efforts to support innovation and integrate modern technologies into the education system, robots were introduced at the Fund's computer labs in Sixth of October City and the Productivity and Efficiency Training Institute in 10th of Ramadan City. This marks the first time an Egyptian institute has employed robots in this role, aiming to deliver an interactive and advanced testing experience that aligns with the Fund's broader goals for educational development. The robots provided exam instructions, explained test rules and question formats, outlined daily schedules, and informed students of break times—supporting them both psychologically and academically. On the first day, 90 students were welcomed and assisted by the robots. To ensure transparency and credibility, test results were displayed instantly on-screen upon completion.
