Talks focused on enhancing joint cooperation, particularly in military and security fields, and on exchanging expertise in counter-terrorism and combating extremism, reflecting the shared strategic interests of both countries. The meeting also addressed developments in the Middle East, with a focus on Egypt's efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza. President Sisi stressed the importance of international responsibility in ending the humanitarian suffering in the Gaza Strip, ensuring the delivery of aid, and advancing international recognition of an independent Palestinian state as the foundation for lasting peace and stability in the region. The meeting also reviewed developments in South Asia and efforts to promote stability and development across the region.
