Egypt's Ministry of Industry urged local manufacturers to register in the Arab Platform for Industrial and Mining Products Offers and Requests (apip.online), promoting Arab industrial integration and regional economic cooperation, the Cabinet said in a statement on Wednesday. The Ministry also encouraged Egyptian companies to register in the Arab Platform for Future Minerals (APFM) (apfm.aidmo.org), a complementary initiative that focuses on mining resources and investment opportunities in the Arab world. So far, more than 66,000 industrial entities from 21 Arab countries, including over 15,000 from Egypt, have joined the apip.online platform. Egyptian investment opportunities have already been uploaded, the ministry noted. The ministry announced the integration of Egypt's Digital Industrial Platform with the Arab platforms APIP and APFM, emphasising that digital transformation is crucial for achieving sustainable development goals in Egypt and the Arab region.
