Egypt's National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) head Tarek El-Houby met with representatives from the AUC's School of Continuing Education to discuss collaboration in training and capacity-building for food safety professionals, a statement said. Discussions centred on launching a specialised food safety training programme that includes theoretical and practical modules covering key areas such as food legislation, inspection, auditing, risk assessment, and preventive procedures.
