The Philippines' unemployment rate declined to 3.9 per cent in May 2025, down from 4.1 per cent recorded in both May 2024 and April 2025, according to official data released by the Philippine Statistics Authority on Tuesday. The number of unemployed individuals totalled approximately 2.03 million in May 2025, a decrease from 2.11 million in the same month last year and 2.06 million in April this year, the report showed.
