Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum has denied claims that the country is losing $600 million per month due to delays in operating floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) units. Ministry spokesperson Moataz Atef, speaking live by phone on television, rejected the allegations, saying the figures are exaggerated and not based on accurate data. He attributed the delays to purely technical and logistical reasons. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: M. S. Salama
