Egypt's tax revenues set record

Egypt recorded its highest growth in tax revenues in recent years, with a 37.8 per cent increase from July 2024 to April 2025, according to the Egyptian cabinet.
Revenues rose to 1.7 trillion Egyptian pounds, reflecting the effectiveness of the government's tax reforms and facilitation measures without introducing new tax burdens on citizens or businesses.
