Egypt is keen to enhance economic and trade cooperation with Madagascar, encouraging Egyptian investments and expanding bilateral trade to serve the interests of both nations, said Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atty, as per a Cabinet statement. During a meeting with Madagascar's Foreign Minister, Abdel Atty reiterated Egypt's commitment to implementing bilateral agreements and enhancing cooperation in key sectors like agriculture, infrastructure, health, education, and capacity building. Madagascar's Foreign Minister reiterated the country's commitment to enhancing cooperation with Egypt in various areas and commended Egypt's support for African causes and development. Discussions emphasised joint coordination within the African Union and cooperation in regional and international forums, highlighting the importance of mutual support in international organisations.
