Egypt's Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, emphasised the need to enhance cooperation between Egypt and Serbia, particularly in human resources development, while commending Serbia's progress in workforce development and labour market regulation, an Egyptian Cabinet statement said on Wednesday. Abdelatty highlighted the economic and social advantages of cooperation between the two countries during his meeting with Serbia's Minister of Labour in Belgrade. He emphasised the importance of continued coordination and exchange of visits to further enhance bilateral relations. He also highlighted the qualifications and skills of the Egyptian workforce across various sectors, underscoring the country's commitment to training programmes that align with international labour standards. Abdelatty indicated that Serbia may benefit from integrating Egyptian workers into the Serbian labour market to alleviate labor shortages in key areas, as well as providing specialist training programmes to match Egyptian workers' skills with Serbia's labour market demands.
