Azhar Imam exchanges greetings with Bahrain's king on Eid

Cairo - Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed el-Tayyeb exchanged greetings on Sunday with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
In a phone call, Tayyeb expressed support of Al-Azhar for Bahrain's stability and hailed efforts by the Bahraini King to maintain his country's unity through overcoming regional challenges in cooperation with other Arab leaders.
Also, Tayyeb wished more progress and stability for all Arab and Islamic countries.
For his part, King Hamad asserted that the kingdom takes pride in Al-Azhar and appreciates the Grand Imam's scientific and intellectual efforts to serve Muslims.
