Cairo - On Friday May 5, a major hotel in Cairo hosted a seminar and a signing ceremony for a book titled: "About Palestinians Only: The Dialectics of Success and Failure," by Marwan Kanafani.
Palestinian Minister, Hassan Asfour, media host, Nabil Darwish, Dr. Ahmed Fuad Anwar, and Mr. Amr Mousa have all delivered impressive speeches in the presence of high-profile personalities such as Captain Hassan Hamdi, Mustafa Al-Faki, Captain Ahmed Shubair, Chairman of Culture and Information Committee in Parliament MP Usama Heikal, former Minister Nabil Fahmy, media host Amr Khalil, Khaled Montaser, ex-footballer Captain Taher Abu Zeid, Captain Fathi Mabrouk, Ambassador Ahmed Al Qattan, Saudi Ambassador, Alexandria Festival Chairperson Al-Amir Abaza, and last but not least Dr. Fouad Amer, a personal friend of author Marwan Kanafani. A number of international guests also attended the event, including Eng. Walid Abu Ghali, film producer, Hussein Al-Qalla, and the founder and former editor-in-chief of Palestinian Wafa Agency, Ziad Abdel Fattah.
