Suez Canal Authority's head, Mohab Mamish announced that 41 ships weighing 2 million and 300 thousand tons crossed Thursday through Suez Canal, Youm7 News reported. Mamish pointed out that 19 ships weighing 800 thousand tons have crossed through the north of the canal while 22 ships weighing 1 million and 500 thousand tons have crossed through the south. He added that the largest ship crossed the canal from the north of the canal was "HYUNAI DREM" ship coming from England, heading to Singapore weighing 174 thousand tons, while the largest ship to cross from the south was "BRITSH VENTURE" oil tanker weighing 164 thousand tons.
