The Cassation Court decided Saturday to postpone the execution impediment filed by former President Hosni Mubarak and his two sons, Alaa and Gamal, to January 9, in the case publicly known as "presidential palaces," Al Bawaba news reported. Cassation prosecution recommended the court to dismiss the defendants' appeal and to uphold the 3-year prison verdict, the daily Youm7 news reported. In May, the court sentenced Mubarak and his two sons to three years in prison and fined them EGP 125 million and 979 thousand.
