French Shock .. The deadliest attack since 1945
Published in Albawaba on 14 - 11 - 2015

France had a depressing night yesterday not only because of the Paris terrorist attacks themselves but also because they are the deadliest ones since 1945 during the World War II, with large casualties among civilians.
Terror experts may have expected new terrorist attacks on France but they did not probably imagined an attack of the magnitude of the one that occurred Friday night, Nov. 14 against Paris and Saint-Denis.
The government of Hollande is held accountable for the attacks for not taking a lot of precautions despite Hollande's rapid apology, and speedy response with he moving to the scene.
Since the attacks of Charlie Hebdo and Hyper Hide in Paris on 7 and 9 January, the anti-terror mechanism was extensively remodeled: intelligence legislation in June, operational staff to prevent terrorism (EMOPT) was placed directly by the Minister of the Interior in July, according to Le Monde. Since January, five terrorist records, indicted recognized a proposed strike in France, including concert halls. The latest case was in Toulouse on June 26.
And the new Paris bombings occurred a little less than a month after several flagship measures of the law on intelligence had been put into force, including allowing many special investigative techniques for the services: sound places private, real-time computer monitoring, etc.
This was confirmed assured the minister of the interior, Bernard Cazeneuve, in L'Express, July 1 "Every day, we proceed with the retirement of harm to individuals wishing to hit our country. The psychological fragility or psychiatric, some of them facilitates the passage to the act. And there may be people who fall through the cracks. That is why we tighten them further by consolidating our services, ".
Similarly, announced by Manuel Valls after the attacks in January that pointed to information law are not yet effective. This service charge of "local information" has been considerably strengthened since 2012, from 1 900 to 2 200 people. Even the police are now more integrated with the circuit - a necessity, while a number of people followed are also present in rural areas, discretion will.
More than 1500 people are currently involved in pathways of jihad in Syria or Iraq and the file for the Prevention of reported terrorist nature and radicalization (FSPRT), created in March and classified defense secrets, has more than 11,000 names. However, the number of cases that have been investigated with them was only 169 cases.
And therefore what appears to the French people is the incompetence of those security plans supervised by the highest positions in the French government, which would affect the popularity of Hollande and officials in his government. Those people will not be tolerated with respect to the blood of their people.
