The Cairo Criminal Court rejected Wednesday the request of Attorney General to freeze the funds of Egyptian businessmen Salah Diab and Mahmoud Al-Gammal, Al-Bawaba news reported. On the other hand, the court decided to freeze the funds of New Giza Company owned by Diab, over accusations of illegal seizure of lands belonging to the state. Diab and his son were arrested Sunday, over corruption accusations and possessing two unlicensed guns.
